Aram came to Yoga as therapy for serious knee and back injuries and was struck by the transformative qualities of the practice; both physical and mental; especially the magical effects of the breath. Aram completed his teacher training with inspirational yogi Doug Swenson and continues to regularly practice with and assist his long-term teacher Stewart Gilchrist; he is greatly influenced by his teachings of Satyagraha. He is open to and explores all styles and methods and has travelled and meditated extensively. His classes are dynamic, challenging, filled with good humour and all inclusive. Vinyasa krama makes him happy. Maintain the breath, maintain the flow; the rest is practice. He continues to work diligently as a perpetual student of Yoga.
